Jordin Wilson '23 Recruiting Profile

At the age of five years old, I began playing soccer, and over the years my passion and commitment for the game grew beyond my wildest dreams. 

 To further support my education, independence, as well as my athletic development, my family and I made the decision for me to attend IMG Academy for my junior and senior years of high school. 

Coming from the small Island of New Providence, in The Bahamas, living and studying abroad, while playing competitive soccer at a high level presented many new challenges for me, all of which I overcame successfully.  I am excelling in school with a current GPA of 4.23, and I was privileged to have recently been inducted into the National Honors Society; playing on the U17 IMG Academy team;  and making career and friendships while enjoying the benefits of hard-work.  

As a team member of the IMG Academy U17 Premier team,  I am therefore totally committed to training and to improving my soccer skill at every opportunity.  I am enjoying my time at IMG, and I get along well with all my coaches and teammates.  

It is my goal to attend a university that will not only stimulate and challenge me academically, but also athletically and assist me further develop my soccer ability.  At the moment, I am interested in studying a Business degree with emphasis in Real Estate.  I know that whatever direction my education takes me, I will continue to excel in the areas of scholarship, service, leadership and character.  

With all of the above attributes, along with my speed, technique, hard-work and team-building skills, I am confident that I will be an asset to any university family and soccer team.

It will be a dream come true for me to continue to live my childhood dream of studying and playing soccer for a university team; taking it all the way to a collegiate championship, and ultimately playing at a professional level!
