Nathan Richmond '22 Recruiting Profile

Hello my name is Nathan Richmond and I am in my Junior year at IMG Academy, a college prepatory school, in Bradenton, FL.  I am looking for a college that is both strong academically and athletically.

I play center midfield and usually within the number ‘10’ role, but I have also played as a left central midfielder with great vision to position my teammates in scoring situations. I played for 4 years within the youth development program of Atlanta United prior to attending IMG Academy in the Fall of 2020. 

I am good at winning balls in the air and I go into tackles strong. A key aspect of my game is my ability to take players on one on one and either create a scoring position for myself or for one of my teammates.  I am very quick and one of the fastest players on my team. I am usually involved in any and all set pieces in or around the goal and take all my teams penalty kicks.  I am the leading scorer for my team and one of the leading assist players as well.

I am looking for a school that I’ll both support me academically and athletically and provide me with the tools to develop me as a person going forward in life.
