Andrew Olitzky '22 Recruiting Profile

At a young age I discovered a love for the beautiful game of Soccer and begged my parents to play a sport they knew very little about.  Travel Soccer has been the foundation for many opportunities to expand my Soccer career.  Each year my coaches challenged me to become better and learn new positions along the way.  My understanding of the game from a multi-positional standpoint allows my coaches some flexibility when a need arises. Our Club Team has enjoyed success winning at many levels, and as a Team Captain I have been able to help lead by example on and off the pitch.   Academics are also a huge focus of mine learning all that I can and challenging myself to strive for my personal goals.

As a Freshman I was given the opportunity to play Varsity Soccer at American Heritage Plantation High School and we were very successful.  During our climb to the State Championship I got to play with players who taught me a great deal about playing with a "Championship Mentality".   During my Sophomore on Varsity we fought many tough battles during the year and made it to the playoffs once again, but fell short of our ultimate goal.   This year I will be attending American Heritage Boca/Delray where I will continue to expand upon my game, and bring with me all that I have learned along the way.  I want to continue to develop and refine skills on a daily basis both in the classroom and on the Soccer Field.   I was successful in both Club and High School Soccer this season which has helped with my climb towards my academic and athletic dreams. 

After High School I would love to attend a College that allows me to grow  academically, and continues to help me develop as a player.  My hope is that I could offer your school any of the "tools in tool belt" to help us mutually strive for excellence.
