Ultimately, I want to earn my bachelor’s degree in tourism and hospitality management. Upon completion, I want to enter the MLS draft and become a professional soccer player. I understand the importance of having a college education and degree upon the end of my soccer career which is why I’m taking the steps now to secure my future.
What makes me different from other recruits is my genuine hunger to win and strive to become a better athlete each day. Additionally, my mentality in game situations changes; I play smart, make quick decisions, and follow through to ensure success. My leadership skills are boundless- when my team needs to look up to someone, they look up to me and ask me for help whenever they need it. Furthermore, when I talk they listen. My coaches have seen this potential which is why I have acquired the captain band on every team I have ever been a part of. Upon request, they would be happy to supply footage, letters of recommendation, phone interviews, etc.
While I may not have the highest GPA, I understand the importance of academics and work hard to do the best of ability. When most people slack off their senior year, I am working harder than ever. I have obtained straight A’s during each marking period and make an effort to attend tutoring and ask for help when needed. I plan to continue these study habits upon going to college.
