"Hard work beats talent when talent doesnt work hard", was a quote by high school Coach Tim Notke. This was a saying that I have carried throughout my life since I was 10 years old. This is what sets me apart from the rest. Hard work. I wanted to play at the highest level, but only through hard work has this been achieveable and it defines who I am. Through my academics I continue to push myself to be the best I can, and learn everything from what has been put in front of me. My mind will always be open to new ideas. This carries into my soccer as well. I always want to learn from my coaches and have an eagerness to succeed. But many good players quit when they don't get the instant results or don't succeed after a period of time. That's not me. I will always be that player pushing, trying to play even through pain in the 90th minute. Because, "hard work beats talent when talent doesnt work hard". So, I want to be recruited to a college that wants hard workers on and off the field and pushes me to be my best.
