Ever since I was a child, soccer has been a really big factor in my life, almost the main factor. In every game I have ever played, I’ve played my heart out until the last second. Throughout these years I have developed great work ethics for sports as much as I have for school. I have also developed great leadership skills on and off the field and I have a tendency of never giving up. I look forward to playing soccer in college and later on playing professionally or being a sports commentator. My high school career hasn’t been the easiest journey, due to having two concussions and recently injuring my knee, but that was never a good enough reason for me to give up. I still work hard everyday to better myself not only as an athlete but as a person. Although sometimes it is, my injuries have never been a burden that have prevented me from getting better. When I am incapable of working out or playing soccer, I watch soccer games to pick up on things that I can improve on and to see what are some key areas of my game that I am missing. After every game, I talk to my coach to see what I need to work on in order to be able to notice it myself during games. Growing up, playing professionally was and still is a goal that I’m hoping to achieve, but as I grow older I notice that school and my future career is very important as well, which is why I would love to attend a college that provides a good education for my future and takes me in as one of their players for their soccer team.
