Ryan Heron '24 Recruiting Profile

One of the biggest challenges and exciting moments was having the opportunity to attend the Tottenham Hotspurs Residential camp in London, England for two consecutive years in 2018 and 2019. During those experiences I was able to train with the Elite Development Centre squad, meet and be advised by Jermaine Jenas and Lucas Moura. This inspired me to raise my game and seek out opportunities to play at a higher level as well as gave me insight to the advanced development received through a professional clubs academy. Since joining the Orlando City Soccer Club Academy, I have been able to grow as a student athlete, both physically and academically. I have maintained my position on the team while successfully completing a full load of honors classes virtually. Our team was ranked third in our region during the 2021-22 season and played in the semi-finals during the MLS Next Cup.

I am interested in playing at the college level and studying Sports Analytics or Sports Management. I’m looking for a program that will be a good fit for me athletically and academically. I have strong work-ethic both on the field and academically.
