Matias Suarez '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Matias Suarez, I'm from Colombia, I've been living in the United States for 4 years. I started playing soccer since I was four in Deportivo Independiente Santafe in Bogotá. When I got here to Florida I started playing in the academy ACYS, and later on I played for 2 years in Florida Rush, there I attended to two national MLS showcases. I've been playing in High School since freshman year, making the varsity team in the first school I attended (Windermere High school); and currently in my junior year I got transferred to Horizon High school which is a new school in Horizon West, Florida.  As a player my coaches consider me very versatile and complete, capable of playing in the defensive and attacking line, possessing great attributes such as strength, endurance, vision, passing and creativity. My goal is to find a college or institution where I can help with my abilities and keep growing as a player.
