Jason Wong Lopez '23 Recruiting Profile

My goal is to attend a college where I can continue to play high level soccer while pursuing academic goals, picking up from my ECNL club soccer and HS varsity soccer currently in my high school years. 

Have been fortunate to play competitive soccer these years which take me to various regional and national championship tournaments and winning some regionals and playoff games, I look forward to carrying these memories and experiences to the next level in College soccer.

I am a good and responsible student with good GPA score. As my background, I am half European (mother side) and half Asian (father side). I have learned various cultures and languages (Spanish, English and Chinese) and have lived in Spain (5yrs) and England (5yrs) when I was younger before settling in GA. And I have trained and played soccer in both Spain and UK.

I see myself a very technical player with strong soccer IQ, making the right decisions on play and positioning and also being versatile on positions. I play Holding Midfield, Center Back, both left and right outside backs in both Club and HS teams.

Although my birth date falls in November and am generally the younger player on the team, I have always been a starter on both Club and HS teams. I was chosen to be Club team captain on ECNL 3 seasons in a row. Last Season we went to ECNL playoff and my team was the ECNL National Championship finalist for the U18-19 age group for 2021/22 season.

I am currently finishing my HS senior year online and have been scouted and am playing in a soccer academy in Germany to further my skills for 2022/23 season.
