My goal is to play soccer for a college level team and to work to bring that team the farthest it can possibly go by giving it my all on and off the field. Taking the next step and playing soccer in college would be an incredible achievement for me personally.
I have played soccer all my life, working and practicing on my skills to constantly improve myself. I’ve played competitive club soccer since I was nine up to my current U19 team. I have also played for my school’s middle school and high school teams since 7th grade.
I am also a Type 1 Diabetic who manages my health through a constant regimen of focused workouts and diet. I use my condition as a motivating factor to overcome obstacles that are in my way.
On and off the field, I try to be the person who leads people in the right direction and to also be a person who cares for his teammates. I have been nominated by my teammates as a candidate for captain (decision will be made in the fall/winter of this year).
On the field, I am a very physical player and a vocal leader who strives to lead by word and example. I give my all to win the physical battles to provide a strong defensive line in the back. I know how to handle pressure and how to keep my cool, so I’m never stressing or losing my focus while facing tough situations. I am right footed, and my skills follow in vital defense, with my ability to jockey and steer players one direction, my ability to head the ball and clear out dangerous balls, and my vocal leadership.
