My name is Andre grant. I am a African American male born in Miami, Florida and raised in Milton, Georgia. I am an easy going individual that loves the game of football (soccer). Compared to all of my peers, I am somewhat new to the sport. I started playing at my first club at the age of 13. Now at the age of 16 soon to turn 17 I'm working as hard working as ever to be the best player I can be. The sport of football has added so much to my life giving me a new perspective on everything. I have met many people that have doubted not only my skill but also my mental fortitude in my short stint in the sport. However, I have met many people that have encouraged me on as well; from coaches to fellow teammates, they all have helped to mold me into the player I am now and are guiding me to the player I will become. I hope to not only help but to grow with a program that I attend.
Which ever college I end up at, I want to be an asset to whatever team I am on and whatever level of play I end up at. I want the opportunity to contribute to a team winning a national title or championship and graduate with a pre law degree if available. After completion of Undegrad I want to enroll in Law school to work on My Graduate Degree in Constitutional Law.
I usually bring good energy to any team I am on. I offer versatility and flexibility and am capable and willing to play any position to help my team succeed. While my main position is right back, I do have experience at playing left back, center back, right and left wing, center forward and attacking mid all at regional, sub regional, state, and ECNL levels, respectively, I am a quick learner and I am always wanting to do my part to help out the team.
I am who I am and I am aware of what I want and also know that I will meet people with similar goals along the way. I have a very easy going personality and have been told that I can get along with just about anyone. I have been told by my coaches that I listen well and am very coachable. My parents have always been very strict about my education so I have developed great study habits. In our household, when the term student athlete came about, student first was always the focal point. I believe that education opens many doors and requires dedication. over the years I have learned to balance that dedication between my love for soccer and necessity for education.
