Roman Alvarez '19 Recruiting Profile

Whether in the classroom or on the pitch, I always try my hardest to perform to the best of my abilities.  That means setting high goals for myself in the classroom as well as in soccer.  As an athlete in the class of 2019, my main goal is to play soccer at a collegiate level. I am willing to put in work day in and day out to have this goal achieved. Since I started playing soccer at a young age, leadership was always something I valued as a player. I always believed the leader can set the tone for the team and the energy for each game or practice that is held. So, as for what sets me apart from others, would be the willingness to bring the spirit of a team up when being down 4-0 at halftime, or having the strength to bring players confidence back up after they miss a penalty kick.
