Alex Pewe '20 Recruiting Profile

I am committed to personal excellence in the classroom, on the field and in life.  I strive to always be positive, to see the good in everything, to do what is right, to be humble and to be kind to everyone I meet.   I believe in team before self --  that teamwork outweighs individual performance and ego.  I play several positions, always trying to maximize my value to the team. 

At age 16, I had the privilege of becoming a resident at the Barca Academy in Casa Grande, playing for Barca’s U-18 Pre-Academy team and attending ASU Prep school.  The experience has taught me strong discipline and focus (both soccer and school), an increased level of responsibility & respect and the opportunity to build many diverse friendships (with my teammates from around the world).   I previously played for FC Nova, Boise National Timbers, Eagle High School and Idaho’s ODP/Olympic Development team.  As part of the Idaho ODP team, I had the opportunity to travel and play in Barcelona, Spain and was selected to attend the Regional ODP Camp in Moscow, Idaho.
