Alex Flynn '22 Recruiting Profile

            Hi, I'm Alex Flynn.  I currently play Forward and Outside Midfield for Mascoutah High School in Illinois and Metro Alliance FC (formally KIXX United FC) 04' Boys. When I was 7 I fell in love with the game of soccer and started my competitive journey on the pitch.  I have watched teams like Manchester United and FC Barcelona from a young age and idolized players like Messi and Rooney.  By watching them on the pitch, I was encouraged to continue playing soccer with hopes that one day I could make it big with the hard work and effort I put into the game I love.  Every practice and every game, I put all the things that happened in the day behind me to focus my efforts into the training session or match. I want to show my coaches, recruiters, and teammates that I am committed to them and that I'm the best I can be every time I step onto the pitch.  Not only is soccer my passion and incredibly important to me, I'm am just as committed to being a student-athlete.  I focus and work hard to keep my grades up, so I can continue to play soccer.  I'm willing to put in extra time after games or practices, on the weekends,  and any other chance I get to train more on the skills and endurance I need to become the player I strive to be.  The game of soccer has been my passion for almost 11 years and I hope to continue that passion in college and play for as long as I can.
