Nolan Shawl '24 Recruiting Profile

I am in my senior at Connersville Sr. High School in Connersville, Indiana. I have been on the varsity soccer team since my freshman year and was a captain my sophomore, junior year, and senior year. I was also the only varsity kicker/punter for our football team my sophomore, junior and senior year. I earned all conference honors for soccer for 3 my sophomore, junior and senior years and all conference honorable mention for football for junior and senior years. I carry a 4.0 GPA and am ranked 15th out of 249 students in my class, I am also in National Honor Society and National Technical Honor Society. I am hard-working, coachable, versatile, fast, and a smart defensive team player who can also score. I have played club soccer for Total Futbol Academy in Cincinnati, OH since for over 10 years and play on the TFA 2006 Elite team.  Soccer has been a part of my life since I could walk, and I am hoping to continue playing in college while majoring in exercise science/athletic training. My long-term goal is to become an orthopedic sports surgeon.
