Abiodun Soneye '23 Recruiting Profile

I was born in Lagos Nigeria and moved to Indianapolis Indiana where I live now. I am currently a sophomore with 3 years of eligibility left at Alderson Broaddus University Divison 2. My fall season didn't go as planned I redshirted due to some unforeseen circumstances. I'm someone who works hard both on and off the field whether it be training in the gym or taking shots on the weekends. I am also extremely coachable and am willing to do whatever it takes to improve my game. Some of my strengths are my vision, shielding, pace, heading, and quickness. I excel in the center-back position due to my pace, shielding, heading, and composure. However, I can play any defensive position. I take my academics as seriously as my athletics. I challenge myself in the classroom and currently have a perfect grade of 4.0.  I strive to be the best I can be regardless of the situation.
