My name is geovany llanos. imagine if you knew about my background. I grew up in the southside of indiana and lived with my aunt. We lived in my aunts basement for at least 2-4 years. I've never really played competitive soccer until I joined Indy fire academy 2023. This is because, we never really had the money for it or any friends that would give us information about that. I've been playing soccer since I was 5 years old. I love this sport. This sport is my happiness. i've only been able to play sunday leagues and never played club. This held me back from players and looked down at, but I never gave up. I am a really good player and Im confident enough to say that. But then it was like everything just slipped out of my hands. My most important season junior year, I was injured in a car accident and fractured my Tibia. Yes to cut to the chase Im making a comeback with this years season. That injury did hold on to me. It brought me so much depression and lost confidence. I felt like soccer was over. Watching kids younger then me already going pro. Then it just hit me. I'm on my own path my own timeline. I shouldn't be worrying about others. I'm fully committed to this sport. This sport is basically go pro or go home to me. So I'm all in. I may not be known right now, but I will be known. Thanks if you read all this.
