Benjamin Glueckert '23 Recruiting Profile

My love for soccer started at a young age. Since then, my goals have grown into the desire to play college soccer.  I am very passionate about soccer because of my competitive nature. I also feel stress-free and  most comfortable out on the field.

As a defender I try to be a big, strong presence in the back. I focus a lot on being a good distributor and keeping possession. My greatest strength is my knowledge and understanding of the game. I'm also tough, and I give 100% effort on every play.

I'm a very hard worker both on the field and in the classroom. When we don't have team practices I am either practicing on my own or lifting weights to enhance my game. I also value my learning, and will never be nuisance when it comes to grades. 

Lastly, I am always trying to improve my skills and I am very coachable. I am always willing to listen to advice from coaches or teammates.
