In life, just like on the pitch, when I see an opportunity to make a difference, I take it. Active in community service, I have been able to share my love of the game with less fortunate students in Haiti. I created www.DoGoodBeMore.org to be more and give others opportunities to be more too. Just like teammates, by working together and supporting each other, we can all do good and be more.
Being a student athlete, I know that I am a student first. I understand that my studies will take me farther in life than my sport. In soccer, even when you make a mistake, the game play goes on, just like in life. Mistakes will not define me; learning from them and my determination to improve does. I also understand that my legacy will be what I go on to do to make the world a better place. We all have the power to be more.
I have an entrepreneurial spirit. I thrive on adrenaline, am motivated by competition, am disciplined to overcome obstacles, and know the value of being able to pivot and evolve in order to win. All needed qualities to be a successful athlete AND entrepreneur. My plan is to continue to grow in my soccer career while preparing for a future career and building a legacy.
