Personal Statement
I have played club soccer for Al Jazira Football Club, Al Wahda Football club and Sharjah FC for the past 5 years, both being elite soccer clubs playing in the UAE’s First Division as professional clubs. I achieved a record of 14 goals in 16 matches during the 2018/2019 season, coming in as 5th top scorer in the country for my age group that season before getting discontinued due to COVID-19. I also achieved being the top scorer and player of the tournament for Sheikh Mohamed Bin Mansour tournament during that season I have also captained my school soccer first team for the past year, playing as a striker or winger/fullback, winning the Abu Dhabi school league for the past 3 years. I have included a link to my highlight video to see some of my clips when playing in Madrid, Spain, when I was invited to try out for the U23 squad for Al Corcon at 17 years old, and clips from the UAE for Al Jazira Football Club. I also have clips from my current club, Sharjah FC, where I train and play alongside professional players in the u21 team. I have played as the starting right winger for Sharjah FC u19s and have played some games with the professional u21 team. Unfortunately, many of my games in the UAE were not recorded as my club did not invest in a camera; however, I could still retain some from other clubs’ videographers. Academically, I was predicted an AAB for my 3 A levels, achieving BBB ( possibility of becoming ABB in the coming weeks)and all 8’s or 9’s in my IGCSEs (out of 9) except for one 7. My biggest strengths are my speed and playmaking ability, as you see in my highlight reel. I have always been interested in playing college soccer however I am also passionate about Chemical engineering, and I am really excited that I can pursue both of my passions at whichever university I am privileged enough to attend.
