Personal Statement
My name is David Amasi and I have loved soccer since I learn't my A,B,Cs.What makes me a good candidate for the team? I posses many attributes of a prolific attacker.But the stand outs are my heading accuracy, strength, shot accuracy, and flair.I use my strength and flair to give defenders problems.None the less I use my heading and shot accuracy to punish defenders for their mistakes.I'm 6 feet tall so I'm not intimidated by height.
What makes me different from other recruits? In reference to character , I have a strong mentality of determination and faith. I believe the match does not end until the final whistle no matter the score line.i also rub this off on my teammates to encourage them.I also believe that practice makes perfect; so i continue to practice no matter the criticism.I get better each day and always try to maintain very good form.Before I got this good, people as well as teammates told me to focus only on academics; but now they cheer me on.
In reference to athletics, when my name is mentioned among individuals who see me play, ,the first thought is "how many will he score today?" I love it when we pick teams to play in school and I hear opposing defenders complaining "why are we we against Amasi?"This makes me laugh and motivates me to continue to make them fear me due to my good performances.
