Personal Statement
I have worked very hard to get to where I am, I practice nearly every day under the Japanese System which is full year soccer rather than seasonal. I am willing to work hard, and know I have a lot left to learn. I am an aggressive keeper, well studied in English. I am going to compete in the Surf College Cup this year. I was selected to participate with several other players thought to be among the best on Okinawa. I am aggressive in my goalkeeping, and have become a standout player in Okinawa, Japan and would like the opportunity to play in the US for college. My planned major is Early Childhood Education.
I have played for strong teams, and I have been the strongest player on weak teams. I understand how to win, because I know what it feels like to lose. I understand moving to the ball, and moving when I do not have the ball.
I have dual American and Japanese citizenship and hope to continue my soccer career in college.
