Personal Statement
I started when I was 6 years old and, by 2013, I was playing against kids 2 years older than me. I was able to win the MVP in a local championship, and received several other prizes. In 2014, I joined the soccer team called Coritiba Football Club (COXA). Later that year we won the Little Cup, a championship that occurs between the soccer teams in Curitiba. It did not matter where I was. It did not matter the background of the kids. Soccer immediately connected us. It was our common language.
In 2019 I entered the Soccer Varsity team as an Attacking Midfielder in my High School as a Freshman. Because of the pandemic we didn't have much games, but when things got better I was back in the team. Today, In my Senior season, I play for the Varsity team, still as an Attacking Midfielder, wearing number #10 and having so far scored 7 Goals and 9 Assists.
