Personal Statement
My experiences with sports started when I was 3 years old while I was playing baseball, representing Anzoátegui State in 4 occasions and being Champions Bat on my last national tournament in 2011. While I was representing Venezuela in Margarita, I got a lot of critics for been too short, so I decided to practice swimming in order to be taller. Competing as a swimmer I won gold medal in backstroke and silver medal in breaststroke and freestyle stroke. During that time when I was swimming at the Centro Ítalo Venezolano de Oriente (CIVO), I started to play soccer after each swimming training session, as a hobby. Little by little I started to get more interested in playing soccer until I finally decided to sign up for CIVO’s soccer team. After a season playing there, I changed of team to Garotos de Mello where I played for a single season and participated in the national tournament.
After some test modules with Deportivo Anzoátegui, I was call up to participate in the youth team, playing U-14 and scoring 16 goals. The next season I started playing with the U-16 team scoring 12 goals and making 7 assists, and in the second season with the U-16 I scored 23 goals and made 10 assists. Thanks to this good performance I debuted with the U-18 team and I was called up to play with the main roster in which I trained from September 2016 until October 2017, while I was still playing with the reserve team (3rd Division). With the reserve team, the U-18 and U-20 team I scored 5 goals, 16 goals and 4 goals respectively. At the end of that season I changed of team to Ciudad Vinotinto in which I’m currently playing.
