Personal Statement
Growing up in Italy, you learn to embrace soccer as a way of life, as something you can't really live without. I started playing soccer when I was seven, and played Italian club soccer with Aviano Calcio and Fontanafredda Calcio, a Serie D team. In 2016 I switched to the Aviano Saints, the Aviano base High School team and I was also a part of the ODP Europe Pool. With the Saints I've been named to two All-Europe First Team awards, two All-Region awards, two team MVPs and one All-Tournament award. Playing soccer all these years I have learned that you need to work hard to get what you want, and that's what I plan to do throughout my life. I have also learned how to be a true team player: always give 100%, listen, respect coaches decisions and always encourage my teammates.
Having gone to Italian school I can't wait to discover the new experience of the American college life. I wanna find the perfect balance between athletics and academics, because my main goal in college is to graduate with honors. School was never a part of my life I took lightly, and I intend to continue my studying in college.
