Personal Statement
I've been playing soccer since I rememer myself. I want to become a professional soccer player and achieve it through college soccer.
I am an excellent student. I have a 3.9/4 GPA and 1430/1600 SAT score.
I have leadership qualities, I am well organized and I can follow tactical instructions fully. I am totally commited to soccer.
I have a strategic and communicative mind that can transfer the coach's instructions to my teammates and I can be the key player for a team that wants to keep possession.
My technical skills are high and I can use both feet. Athletically, I am strong, well built and I can cover many miles during a game and jump high.
I can pass and receive the ball between the lines. I can switch the game with long balls. I can progress my team's game by receiving the ball from the center backs and playing vertically, disabling opponents' defensive lines.
I can defend well in 1vs1 situations and I don't allow the opposing team create chances.
As far as transition is concerned, when the ball is recovered I can secure possession or begin counterattacks and when the ball is lost I can help my team regain possession quickly or slow down the opponents’ counterattacks.
I have won the Championship of Athens twice (2013 U15 Paneruthraikos F.C., 2014 U15 Apollon Smurnis F.C.) and have finished second once (2016 U18 Kifissia F.C.). I have also finished second with my school team on the 2014 U15 Athens Championship of Private Schools.
I currently play for Kallithea F.C. U20. Kallithea F.C. men's team competes in the Football League of Greece, the second highest professional division in Greece.
I have been called up in the U16 National Team of Greece and have played a friendly match.
I can speak English, Greek, Spanish and French, I can play the piano and the drums and I know how to cook.
