Personal Statement
I have been a sport person all my life, I started doing sports from forever but soccer and tennis were my favorites, at the age of 7 years old I started competing in Tennis competitions becoming one of the best 10 players in Chile. I enjoyed so much and fell with the training and having an athletic style of life, by that time, I had already learnt the meaning and importance of discipline, responsibility and stay focus.
I competed Tennis for almost 5 years and It was successful and fun but parallel, I never stoped playing soccer at school, family and friends, it`s in our culture and I was good as well. I confirmed it when my parents traveled as a family to Brazil for their business and I had the opportunity of attending to a summer camp of Flamengo soccer club in Rio de Janeiro, those weeks were incredible! I had everyday classes of technic and actual games, I loved my teachers and their methods. In one opportunity my team won 6-2 and I made 4 goals! I never forget that experience which finally helped me to take the decision of eventually start training seriously only soccer.
So I did, since I was 11 years old I've been attending to various soccer schools in my country, all those years of efforts bored fruit when I was chosen the Capitan of the team on 2022. The team won 1st place in the championship ! As Capitan I liked very much to cheer up my team and as the drummer musician that I also am, I'm very fast in creating new strategics to face what is happening during the games, that was fundamental to reach the cup. Also the empathy and care for the players is also important, I think the beauty of soccer is that a "Team sport", all win, all loose.... tennis is lonely, that`s why I understand that success depends on each one of the players of the group.
After that experience, I received offers for playing professionally in my country but those clubs where in other cities, at the same time I like maths and business as my parents are both entrepreneurs, so I decided to stay studing in my school and apply for a more competitive Ligue in my zone. That is how I was accepted in Juventud 07 and I participated in the ANFP Asociacion Nacional de Futbol Profesional, this competition is for pre-profesional players so gave me the opportunity to compete in a profesional level during 2023-2024.
Now that I am just 18 years old and finished my high school, I think the best place to reach my goals is USA, where I can study the career I like, but at the same time be part of a soccer team where I can develop and deliver all my sports skills and experience.
I am a multifaceted person: I`m a sportsman, musician, I received the recognition of "sacred heart of Jesus" at high school, a traveler, an student. I`m sure all those faces together make me a complete athlete who is ready and compromised to contribute to the institution which will receive me !
