Personal Statement
Gday Coaches,
I'm a very technical and versatile player experienced in playing at a high senior level. I have been trained to play fullback at the senior level, being the youngest starter for the senior team in the history of the club (16 years 168 days). Throughout my juniors, I have always been claimed as one of the smartest footballers my coaches have ever seen. Last year was a tough one, where at the start I wasn't a guaranteed starter for my u18s side. This pushed me to become the hardest working player not just in my squad but throughout the entire club. I pushed to be the most important player on my team and pushed my way all the way through to the senior team, getting 2 goals and 2 assists in my first start for the seniors.
But aside from football, people describe me as humorous and generous yet intellectual. I give the energy to the rest of the room and I'm a true morale setter. Combined with my football schedule, I pushed myself to be the hardest working student I can as well as I realised from a young age that you need more than just natural intelligence to succeed in life.
