Hey Coaches, you can contact me on Whatsapp and personal email.
My name is Cole Schachnovsky. I live in Bangkok, Thailand. I am a sophomore who goes to NIST International School. I am originally from the Bay Area, and have also lived in Virginia. I want to play college soccer and get my education in the United States.
I play in the midfield mostly, I used to play CDM but now I play CAM and CM. I try and watch as much soccer as I can, watching the best in the world in my position is very useful, I try and take what I can and apply it to my own game.
I play for Primera FC a semi-pro team in the BPL, a team in the 7th tier of Thai Football, a recognized league by the Thai FA. I am one of few foreigner players on the team, as well as the youngest player on the pitch most of the time.
I used to play for FC Bangkok a youth club associated with a Thai pro team. In the Thai system soccer system, foreigners are not allowed to play for pro youth teams, teams are restricted to a small amount of players. FC Bangkok is the only high level academy with no restrictions. I have played with this club for 6 years, I have been to tournaments with my team in Finland, Singapore and Sweden for Gothia Cup.
I play for my school team as well NIST International School, I have played with their varsity team for 4 seasons currently, I was able to get a starting spot in my freshmen year and the soccer team now has a year long season. I play LB once in a while to help with defense and help my team on an attack by seeing the whole pitch. The school team is very good and trains at a high level but is more of a creative space for me to practice. My club team plays at a higher level.
I take my fitness seriously, I play soccer 6-7 times a week. I find myself in the gym 3 times a week to work on my physical strength. I take part in cross country for my stamina and that has worked out very well. As a midfielder I have to run a lot, near the end of the game I find myself more fit than other players because I am competing in cross country.
I take the IB, because my school is an IB school and I start it in my junior year which will be 2022-2023. I have decided to do Standard Level (SL) English Lang Lit, Sports Science, Psychology, and Theory of Knowledge. I take Applied NIST Maths and an Internship with the schools athletic program not apart of the IB.
I am open to any schools in the US and any level. I am striving to get to a position where I will be able to work hard to get into a college roster.
