I have been playing soccer since I was five years old. I love the sport and want to play and contribute to soccer as long as I can. Playing for college would be a dream come true.
I am very coachable and eager to learn and improve my skills. I am a go-to person and leader with my coaches and teammates. I have strong physical defense and ball handling, and always working on improvement physically, mentally, and academically.
I am active year-round with soccer through school and club teams. This year with the Guam National U17 team, we competed in the AFC Qualifiers, currently 3rd place in the standings in division 1, we competed in Japan, Korea, and Philipine-friendly competitions, and with the JFK High School Islanders soccer team, we won the State Championship. I train with the teams and independently for soccer twice 6 days a week including 2 days in the gym for weight training. I am focused, driven, and a very hard worker.
Academically, I strive to maintain a high GPA and to get into the National Honor Society. I have great relationships with my teachers, classmates, coaches, and counselors. I am active in my community and volunteer wherever needed. I am a student mentor of Manelu - formerly the Boys and Girls Club of Guam and advocate for the fight against cyberbullying.
I am open to all options and want to attend a college that will be a great fit for both soccer and academically. I hope to become a great student and player. I am grateful and excited for this new chapter to begin. I have a great support team and I want to make them proud.
