Soccer has changed my life. Not only when I see matches on the TV and get excited, but also when I get mad about them. Not only when I score the winner on the last minutes, but also when I was scared in my first final and got substituted on the first half. Not only when I'm triumphant and victorious I appreciate this sport, I appreciate it every time with every minute of the match, any training or maybe even any hit on my ankles. I appreciate soccer, or football as it is said in my country, even when tears come through my eyes when I lose an important match. This sport has made me tough, this sport has made me happy and it also has frustrated me. Even though I feel helpless when I don't have a great performance, this feeling is the one that pushes me to get higher, and to accomplish more trophies, more goals, more medals . This feeling is the one that helps me to be more competitive, more fierce, to be faster than I am, to be more precise than usual. But most importantly , this feeling is the one that forces me to get up and take my captain strip ,so I can look up for more wonderful experiences in which I can get out of the field with THAT particular gloss in my eyes.
