Personal Statement
Hello, I'm Giorgio Domenichini, I am a 17 years old Italian soccer player. Soccer has been part of my life forever, I started playing very young at the Bologna FC soccer academy and I played in the young team of the National Serie A until I was 15 years old when I was traded and started to play with Corticella US, where actually I play in the under 17 team.
I am interested in following my passion and putting a lot of work into playing soccer but at the same time working hard on my studies and getting a valuable degree. My preferred position is left/right winger and also striker, I am a pretty versatile player and according to the team's needs, I have played other positions, such as wing back.
I’m competitive but I’m a team player and the team interest comes first, I always played as a starter, I’m a big guy but quite fast in the long run. I keep myself focused physically and mentally and often I add some specific training to the team schedule. As an IB student, I was bought up with the idea to pursue both my sport and my academic objectives as they are both very important to me and a core part of my life.
I always try my best to improve my academically level, actually, I am targeting a score over 35 at the IB diploma level.
I would be very excited to find them a good university/college, a good soccer team and together a new amazing experience.
