Personal Statement
Greetings to all coaches from England. I’ve been passionate about football for as long as I can remember. I've had the privilege of living in four countries in two different continents, enjoying the sport I love on a global scale. I’ve played football (soccer) for my school teams from the age of eight, first in Zambia, where I also attended the Barcelona Academy and subsequently in England, where I became a football scholar at Bradfield College at 13 years old. I’ve played for Bradfield College’s first XI from the age of 15 and as a passionate team player, in that year I was part of the squad's ISFA cup (independent schools football association) win, and HUDL League win the 2021/22 season. Two years on and I am now working hard as co-captain of the Frist XI to lead our team to repeat the feat in this my final year at Bradfield School. Individually, I was selected for the Independent School Association first team from the age of 15 and onwards for the u16 and u17 teams. I am focused and have been able to combine excellence at football with my academics – maintaining the equivalent of 3.6 GPA, co-captaining my school’s First IX and as a Senior Prefect for my boarding house in school. I’ve been raised to believe that hard work, consistency and commitment, combined with faith are essential ingredients for success and I hope to bring these values to any future establishment I join on and off the pitch.
