Personal Statement
My name is William DAcosta and I have been in love with soccer since I can remember. I spent my childhood playing soccer in Espirito Santo, Brazil for the Fluminense Guerrerinhos academy since I was 5 years old. This is where a former Roma player Adriano Leite Ribeiro recognized my talent and suggested that I move to Rio de Janeiro to play for Fluminense under his wing as he believed I had incredible potential. Now I live in Ontario, Canada and I continue to dominate in my sport on all levels. I am also a motivated, versatile honors student with an average GPA of 3.5 and an astonishing work ethic on and off the pitch.
