Personal Statement
Hard work. Passion. Desire. While sounding cliche these three attributes have gotten me to where I am currently now, and where I want to push myself to be. These three words summarize me as a player and a person. America has always been a dream of mine since I was little and since then I have been putting myself in the best possible position to study over there after I graduate in 2021. Off the field is just as important on the field, studying hard balancing the school life of a 16 year old as well as with the full time commitment of training or playing 8 times a week. When I see what I want, and how I can get there, nothing will hold me back, no matter the challenges or road blocks faced. While not the most talented at first, my worth ethic set me apart from my peers, forcing myself into now the top league in my state as one of the perennial goalkeepers in my age group , the National Premier League (NPL) for Brisbane Strikers as well as the First XI high school team at Churchie. With this, I strive on only improving, keeping up the grind and not backing down.
