Personal Statement
I, Warren Eben, am a very social based person that gets along well with other people whether I know them or I am meeting them for the very first time. This has come through my personal experiences in the 5 different countries that i have lived in. These include Belgium, Germany, Switzerland, China and South Africa. These different countries have taught me very enriching experiences as well as very different cultures from around the world which has helped me in accepting others very easily regardless of appearance.
I first started playing soccer when I was about 4 years old when my father passed his passion of the game on to me by signing me up to play in a small team in Frankfurt, Germany.
Through all these years of playing the sport, I have learnt many things about myself such as determination, leadership and the unwillingness to give up.
I think that one of the most unique skills i possess as a goalkeeper is my ability to play with my feet as I like to take part in many midfielder drills in training which allows me to be as comfortable as it gets with the ball at my feet.
