Personal Statement
This open chance has been my dream since I was fourteen, and I am excited about the idea of being able to exploit my study potential at a high-quality university like the ones that are in the United States and, at the same time, being able to participate and feel part of a team.
I have always seen myself in the future as a successful entrepreneur and I know that is where this man is going to be created. I am perseverant, dedicated, and very passionate about what I am interested in improving or creating. For instance, in my last big project of high school, I was day and night with ideas in my head that I couldn't wait to get them down on paper or with my team. To sum up, I would love to study a career that connects business with technology such as Business Analytics.
I have been following two friends who are studying at YU and they have shown me how they live now and the friends they have made through soccer, activities, and classmates. I realized that this is the life I want for my college self, and to be able to have it for my next 4 years of college.
In the next part, I would like to tell you how I plan to become a good student. My strategy for being a good student will be based on what has always worked in my life. Passion, patience, attention to detail, and keeping my feet on the ground when necessary. Not letting myself get distracted, paying attention in class, taking notes, and rereading them will make me a good student. Since I know I will be away from home, I will not be distracted or wasting my time on useless stuff. I am going to be the best version of myself every day. Being in contact with my classmates to study is fundamental to getting a high grade and participating as much as possible. It will help me to have a positive relationship with my teachers and classmates, and it is a unique opportunity to improve my English 100%.
