Franco Cuevas '18 Recruiting Profile

My name is Franco Cuevas, I'm 24 years old and I am from Buenos Aires, Argentina.

I would really appreciate the opportunity of studying in the USA, not only because of your educational level, but also for the potencial soccer programs there.

I am right now at Snow College in Ephraim, Utah in my freshman year with a GPA of 3.5 in the Business Degree

In relation to my sports activity, I have played soccer since I was 4 years old. I played for popular clubs of Argentina like Platense, Chacarita Juniors and Colegiales. After that I was playing at Societa Italiana di Tiro al Segno in the U-23 team.

In August I went to a tryout at the Los Angeles Galaxy II in Los Angeles but I decided it was better for my future to continue studying.

When I found out about the scholarships that universities grant to Student Athletes, and I started doing some research and I got an offer from Snow College to came to the US on spring 2021. Right now I am playing for Florida Soccer Soldiers (UPSL) until Fall.

 -Height: 6.2 ft

-Weight: 180 lbs

-Position: Center Back or Center forward

-Strong points: Heading, ball position, passes and finishing.
