Personal Statement
2021 Update: Andres is currently at Southeastern Community College in Iowa and playing for the soccer team (verify). He is looking for a transfer to continue with his education and play soccer at a 4 year university. In 2020 Andres Played the Regional Ecuadorian Soccer Championship in Cuenca Ecuador Classifying First in the group. Champions at the “Independiente del Valle” Cup Friendship Tournament. Semifinalist at the Christmas Cup Sub 25 Tournament. 2019: Semifinalist at the AFA Sub 18 Championship.
2019: Helped his team achieve 2nd place at intercollegiate Championship. Also participated at U 25 Azuay provincial Championship at Azuay Football Association (A.F.A). 2018: Helped his Team to a 2nd place finish at the Miami Cup, and selected to the World Soccer Foundation All Star Team to participate in a Tour in Spain (Verify). Also helped his team to win the Azuay Provincial Championship U 17 participating in 7 games of the season.
2017: Selected to the State Selection Team for the State of Cuenca to compete in Ecuador Nationals. (verify). Also helped his team achieve 3rd place at A.F.A. Youth National tournament and 2nd place at “Copa Verano”. 2016: Travelled to Peru to compete in the Peru Cup International Soccer Tournament, helping his team win the tournament championship. Also helped his team to the AFA League Regional Championship. Other: Studied at the American School of Cuenca, a fully bilingual school in Ecuador.
