Mark Lloyd '15 Recruiting Profile

Hello, firstly let me take the time to say thank you for looking in to my profile. 

My collegiate goals and aspirations include: coming away from college with a degree in my chosen subject, to become an all round better person with the skills to go in to the working/ sporting world and getting to play professional soccer. My academical goals, getting a good degree in something i enjoy, will help my career because i realize that my sporting abilities can be taken away from me within a single moment and with a good degree it sets me up to be successful away from the playing side of the game.  Characteristically my aspiration is to become a more well rounded person with the right attitude to succeed within professional soccer or in a working environment. This i feel is very important because my four years in america will help bring the best out of me. My athletically goals, becoming a professional soccer player, is an important aspiration because it is a huge passion of mine which i work for every day and i truly believe with the help of your college i can achieve this goal. 

I would make a great addition to your team because i am very hard working, enthusiastic and passionate about soccer and academics. I am hard working because i often am the first at training and the last to leave, working on my game to become the best i can be. I also take this work rate in to the class room because i believe that being slack in the class room means this will become a bad habit on the pitch. My enthusiasm for training, playing and learning is what makes me stand out because my love for the game really comes through and because of this people in my team usually follow in wanting to improve there game as well.  

I am different to other candidates in soccer because i am a very technical and skillful player with good vision. My technical attributes are good dribbling, skills and a range of passing. This makes me stand out because i can do things other players cant do for example i can beat a player with skill then finding a pass splitting the opposition defense. 

I am different to other candidates in my academics because i will make sure that i don't fall behind and i am not afraid to ask for help. Academically i am strong within sports and i like to make sure that my work is always handed in to the best of my ability because i like to better myself in my learning.

I am different to other candidate characteristically because i am very hard working, passionate, approachable and i have great time keeping. This is important to me as i believe that these things will give me the most success in soccer and academically.
