Personal Statement
Good morning, my name is Carlos Eduardo Jimenez Granado, 18 years old, Venezuelan, currently living in Caracas.
I have been a goalkeeper since I was 6 years old, I have made it a fundamental part of my life and through sport I have learned how sacrifice, responsibility, camaraderie and perseverance are key to achieving new goals.
The soccer goal is my home, I manage all the technical, theoretical and practical aspects of my position and for being a goalkeeper of medium height, I have learned to counteract this deficiency with reflexes, bailing, speed, power, playing very well with the feet, directing my defense and a lot of concentration, managing to be a key and reliable piece for my teammates, both on and off the field.
Since I was 12 years old I have participated in the strongest national league in my country, nowadays, I belong to the lower teams of a professional team, I train from Monday to Friday, with the under 23 category and sometimes with the first team, I have been part of league champion teams, regional champions, district champions, national sub champions, this year I was chosen to represent the capital district in the 2022 national youth games and in the current season I have played 10 games, 950 minutes, 5 games won, 3 draws and 2 lost, with 13 goals conceded (3 penalties).
My greatest wish is to continue showing that want it is power, to get the financial aid that allows me to continue my soccer life while at the same time I can get a university degree.
I am loyal and committed to my obligations, and I assure the soccer program that it grants me the opportunity to move forward, it will have in me the most disciplined worker at the service of the university and the team.
