Personal Statement
My principal talent is my ability to play soccer; I show this ability on the net, in my role as a Goalkeeper, where I give my all every day. This sport taught me a lot with the years, it taught me about hard work, that had helped me to be determined to reach my goals and always try to be the best in everything I do; it doesn't matter if it has to be on the pitch or off the pitch in my academic and personal life. Another main Value that the soccer taught me is Leadership; among the year I have been Captain and Co-captain almost every season, being the face of the team when there was a problem to solve on the pitch with tactics or with game decisions, and also off the pitch, by helping my teammates with their problems that could be seen on the game. I'm always looking for my team's development by talking to them and encouraging them, trying to transmit my experience among all the competitions I have been in. And also one of the most important things I talk with my teammates about when I'm trying to help them, is how important is to visualize the game and live situations, the importance of having confidence in your abilities and skills, to don't doubt in yourself when you face a specific situation.
I consider my self a hard worker, a leader and a winner, I always do my best to reach my goals and to reach my team’s goals, I do whatever it takes to be successful as a soccer player as a student and as a good person. And one of the best parts of all of this values, abilities and experience I acquired among the years is that all these can be put on practice in real life, off the pitch; in your academic life, in your interpersonal life, and also in a work environment.
My collegiate goal is to reach my undergraduate degree with grate scores and take my soccer team to a championship.
