Personal Statement
Greetings Coaches,
My name is Ahmed El Harouchi, current high school sophomore at George Washington Academy, an accredited American School in Casablanca Morocco. I’m very eager to attend a soccer summer camp as a sophomore this year to gain more valuable experience, get to unite with athletes from different background, and meet the coaching staff who can offer precious feedback regarding my skills and performance.
I’m a professional U17 player in a division 1 team ( Raja Club Athletic ) in Casablanca Morocco and starter at my Varsity team. We’ve been winning the international tournament of American schools in Marrakech Morocco for 5 years in a row while being part of 2, my freshman and sophomore year. We also won the Mediterranean cup once in 2013. In this years tournament, I had a major role leading my team to the finals by scoring the final penalty in the semi-finals against the American School of Marrakech and giving an assist in the final to secure our win over the Rabat American School. With my U17 team, we were finalists in the season of 2016-2017.
I’m also an active member of the National Honors Society at my school and top 15 percent of my grade. My GPA is a 3.8.
I’ve been acting in plays for my school for 4 years and also part of band since sixth grade. I play guitar and percussion.
I work alongside our nurse at school too. When the nurse is absent, the group I created called First Aid Mustangs takes over as the certified nurses by the American Heart Association. We also assist all tournaments hosted by George Washington Academy. I could also send out a detailed resume if required. I have my montage highlighting all the games during our tournament at Marrakesh.
I am extremely excited to move forward with the recruitment process and look forward to speaking with you at greater length. Please let me know if you have any questions about me as a student or athlete. I really look forward to hearing from you soon.
King Regards,
Ahmed El Harouchi
