Oliver Jonckheer '24 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Oliver Jonckheer I was born in 2006 and am an attacking midfielder/ forward. I attend St Andrew's College in Makhanda in the Eastern Cape in South Africa. I am a hardworking natural striker, always chasing every loose ball and looking for an opportunity to score or assist. I pride myself in my academics, my football(soccer), and my long-distance running. I am a versatile attacker being comfortable on the left the right, up front, or even as a midfielder.  I have played the highest level of football possible at every age group, having played in the first team from grade 10. I made the provincial trial in grade 7 but got injured at them so didn't make the team. I am also a gifted long-distance runner and have competed at a club level for athletics and cross country. Football has always been a passion of mine and I always believe that the game isn't over till the final whistle. I am the type of player to get involved in team banter and have a great relationship with all of my teammates. I have always been the coach's favorite at every team I have played as I am always the top scorer and am always trying to motivate the team, fighting for every 50/50 and never letting a loose ball get away from me. I am a fast, skillful direct attacker, not scared to take a shot at goal.
