Hi there,
Hope everything is going well. My name is Juan Esteban Estupiñan, I’m from Colombia and I’m 19 years old. I have played soccer since I’m a kid, because I love it in all of its expressions. I love watching it and playing it because for me soccer is more than a sport, is a passion.
I was playing on a professional soccer team in my home country called Fortaleza C.E.I.F, I was on the under 20’s team before flying here to miami, with 18 years old.
I’m really interested in being part of the team, but I know that is a little bit different for me regarding I am an international student, (currently attending Miami Dade college as a freshman and doing really well in classes) but as you may know mdc doesn’t have a soccer team and because I live by soccer, I just want to keep it going. I just want to know what do I need to do to for being in a try out or something like that, I just want an opportunity. My plans were transferring after completing my degree on MDC, but if I can study and play soccer I’ll take the risk, and do the transfer earlier.
With that being said, with this email I hope that I’ll get a better idea if I can be part of it and what would take to be in the team.
Hope to hear from you soon,
Juan
