Personal Statement
As an athlete with many achievements in football, I believe i have the dedication, discipline, and hard work required to excel at a high level. Throughout my life, I have achieved many milestones that have been crucial to shaping who I am today, while football has been a massive part of my life, I have always had a passion for business and the financial world, which I now wish to explore more.
While growing up I have been drawn to books about business and finance. the stories of entrepreneurs and leaders who turned their ideas into success have led me to find a passion in the finance world which grew stronger over the years, as not only an area of interest but a field I would love to build a future and career in. I believe that the principles of strategy and teamwork I've developed through football closely link with the life skills needed such as decision-making, leadership, and goal-setting and communication.
To further enhance my employability and prepare for thie future , I recently completed an employability skills program at the Qatar Career Development Center. This experience enhanced my understanding of the professional world beyond sports and helped me with critical skills such as communication, problem-solving, and adaptability. I am confident that this training, along with my passion for this field will help me succeed in your university's program.
I am eager to bring the same level of commitment and drive to my academic pursuits as I have done throughout my athletic career.
