Personal Statement
Being a robust yet curious child at the age of 7, there weren't many things that kept my attention. However, the moment the front of my boot made contact with a football, I became attentive to its movement, following its every bounce, roll, and turn. A decade later, I haven't lost that attention. I still yearn for every play of the game, making sure each and every ball stays everywhere but between those three bars that define my position and my objective as a goalkeeper.
I'd like to play this beautiful game during my forthcoming years at university and I hope to land a very valuable admission among a school with not only an impeccable athletic foundation but also a well-structured educational framework. I've never backed away from hard work and one of my most imperative objectives regarding this endeavor would undoubtedly be that I continue on that mantra of 'don't give up, there's still a minute left on the board'. In addition, I do not shy away from creating an atmosphere of friendliness and familiarity with all my teammates, making sure there are no gaps between our chemistry. Every youth has a unique style of football; in other words, a fingerprint of one's game. However, I believe my game is merely an expression of what I think, nothing more, nothing less. And what I think is: that is what the beauty of this game is; the expression of your emotions and your mindset in the form of every kick, save, tackle, and goal.
