Personal Statement
Soccer has made me into the person I am today, hardworking and determined. My name is Mohammed-Haitam Yousfi, of Moroccan descent, living in Dubai, UAE; I play with the u17s of Shabab Al Ahli Dubai FC; the best team historically and currently in the UAE.
Soccer is my life, my drive, my passion, everything I do is for soccer, I study so that I can go to a university where I can play soccer, I work hard for soccer, I watch soccer. Soccer also helps me with my second dream, to become an entrepreneur, soccer teaches you valuable social skills to help you communicate with others and work together to achieve success, soccer teaches you leadership skills, how to think fast, decision making, confidence, how to perform under pressure, all these things have helped me and have made me realize some very important benefits of soccer which I did not even think about. No matter what anyone says, I will always do what I see is right, so when people tell me to that becoming a soccer player is too big a dream, I say that it is not becoming a professional that matters, it is the journey to your dream that is most important, the fact that you tried and you worked hard for your dream no matter what, if it doesn't come, it doesn't come, but you won't have the regret that you never tried.
My plan is to play soccer with a competitive university so that I can go pro in the US, to bring me closer towards becoming a great football player of Morocco and to become a great role model to the people of my country and making them extremely happy and proud. I want to become a legend.
