Personal Statement
As a goalkeeper, I have developed a unique set of skills that make me a great candidate for any team. I have a strong work ethic and am dedicated to my training, which has allowed me to play for the first team of my academy La Liga and in the second division of the UAE Pro League. Through my commitment to football and fitness training, I have become a leader on and off the field, inspiring others with my competitive drive and effective communication skills.
What sets me apart from other recruits is my diverse background and interests. Growing up in South Africa and moving to the United Arab Emirates, I have had the privilege of experiencing the influence that cities, structures, and life systems have on shaping one's lifestyle. This has inspired me to explore the fields of design and architecture and use my talents to make a positive change in the world. My passion for design has taught me problem-solving skills that I can apply on the field, helping me analyze and react quickly to different situations.
In addition to my athletics and academic pursuits, I have also pursued a career as a model, representing well-known brands and appearing in articles for publications like The National and Vogue. This has taught me how to handle pressure and solve problems as an individual and as part of a team, skills that are transferable to football and academics.
