Personal Statement

             Dear Coaches, I want to introduce myself and share my goals and aspirations with you.  I started watching and playing football at the age of 6 years old. Since watching and playing football at a young age I've always aspired to play at a high level. 

             I know playing in college can guide me to a great career path.  My goal is to excel both in the classroom and on the field, I value the opportunity to pursue my passion for both academics and athletics. I recognize the benefits of working as a team and the necessity of creating an enjoyable and positive team atmosphere. 

             I'll do everything it takes to improve both the team and myself, including going above and beyond in training, studying game tactics, etc.  I have good ball handling skills, great sprint speed and acceleration and also good communication.

The ideal college would allow me to challenge myself both on the field and in the classroom. I'm willing to consider all of my options in the hopes of finding the ideal college match at the toughest competition.  I intend to make my family and my country proud.

  • CARDIO -a minimum of 2 hours and 30 minutes a week either by running, jogging and bicycling AGILITY – Shuttles, Crosshairs, plyometric BALANCE – Ladder Drills. Shuffles, skater, lunges CO-ORDINATION- Ladder Drills, rapid response scissors, hops POWER – Squats, Romanian deadlift, jumps REACTION- ball drills, quick feet drills, one touch passing drills SPEED- Sprints with and without the ball, shuffles, lunges, resistance sprints, plyometric, jumps STRENGTH TRAINING - at least three times a week, examples of exercises are using weight machines and free weight (using barbells and dumbbells) also using resistance band and exercises without equipment. STRETCHING- at least two times a week, exercise examples include static, passive, dynamic, ballistic, active isolated stretching .
